This class is simply about feeling more while jumper cabling. To feel is an important key to working efficiently with Jin Shin Jyutsu. To feel is an important key to a way of being with the Art that doesn't remain purely technical. If I want to feel another - their state of being, their "safety-" energy locks, their energy flow - I need first and foremost to feel myself.

From an entry in my diary at the retreat in the Advent 2014, on what I am seeking: ”Falling still in order to speak on a backdrop of stillness; No Speaking without stillness, and yet: as long as I live here, no Stillness that didn’t speak! No movement without stillness, and yet no Stillness that didn’t move!“ The orientation of the entire Retreat is a descent into stillness. This stillness, in turn, wants to prepare and hold the space wherein to experience the New that wants to show itself. An orientation, then, to stillness without rigidity: an Aliveness that deepens as it becomes more still; a Stillness that deepens as it becomes more alive.

”Pulses are the study of a lifetime“, Mary Burmeister said, and she knew what she what talking about: in Text Books I and II, pulses are being looked at on at least three levels, according to harmony, melody and rhythm, so to speak. They give us information about the unmanifest or thought level, the manifesting or body building and finally about the manifest or body level. Need we be terrifyed at this multitude of information? Well, staying away from pulses because of their complexity won‘t exactly turn us into experts either! So let‘s have a look at what happens when we listen.
