”Pulses are the study of a lifetime“, Mary Burmeister said, and she knew what she what talking about: in Text Books I and II, pulses are being looked at on at least three levels, according to harmony, melody and rhythm, so to speak. They give us information about the unmanifest or thought level, the manifesting or body building and finally about the manifest or body level. Need we be terrifyed at this multitude of information? Well, staying away from pulses because of their complexity won‘t exactly turn us into experts either! So let‘s have a look at what happens when we listen. What is Listening, how does one go about that? And where exactly? What exactly is our role as a jumper cable? That role doesn‘t just begin the moment we can name things. It is always taking place as soon as we listen out and feel. Through thoroughly working with the Where and the What we will know by the end of this class how to find every single flow from Text I and Text II in the pulses. That‘s relaxing information to have. Yet at the same time – and that is even more relaxing – intensively working with the How will have taught us that that information isn‘t paramount and that the role of the pulses as a ”diagnostic tool“ is only the smallest part of the gift that pulse listening has in store for us……
